Application Sequence for Glossy/Matt/Satin Finish Scuff the substrate thoroughly with emery paper 80/120 to make the surface smooth. Apply first coat of Durothane primer cum surfacer and allow it to dry for 14-16 hrs (Air drying) and then scuff the surface with 320 emery paper. Apply second coat of Durothane primer cum surfacer and allow it to dry for 14-16 hrs (Air drying) and then scuff the surface with 400 emery paper. Apply first coat of Durothane glossy/matt/satin finish and allow it to dry for 14-15 hrs (Air drying) and then scuff the surface with 600 emery paper. Apply second coat of Durothane glossy/matt/satin finish. Note: Durothane finishes can also be applied over Enamel paints after scuffing it with 600 emery paper.
