Directions for Use
- Apply one coat of Metal Coat Etch primer after 20 minutes of mixing the base and the hardner. Overcoating to be done after 1 hour and before 2 hours.
- Apply one coat of Metal coat Primer surfacer by spray or brush.
- Allow it to dry for 8 hours and sand the surface with 320 emery paper.
- Apply Epoxy Putty by putty blade if required.
- Allow it to dry over night and sand the surface to remove the excess putty and to smoothen the surface.
- Apply second coat of Primer Surfacer.
- Allow it to dry over night and scuff the surface with 320 emery paper.
- Apply two coats of Metal coat Finish paint by spray after mixing with suitable thinner.
- Between two coats allow 8 hours or overnight dry and scuff the first coat by 400 emery paper (wet cutting).
- In case of metallic finish paints, no scuffing should be done and wet-on-wet clear to be applied after 15-20 minutes of application of finish paint.
- Application of clear is a must for metallic finish paints, irrespective of the surface.
